- Guinea pigs keep grooming themselves and each other which makes them a very clean animal.
- Andes(Mountain range in South America) is the place from where guinea pigs originally came.
- They are herbivores and mainly eat fresh fruits ,vegetables and hay
- Ideal weight of of a guinea pig is 700-1200 g.
- They are happy if kept in pairs or groups.
- Teeth of guinea pigs keep growing throughout their lives.So they keep using their teeth on the food to wear their teeth down.
